By Kaupanger ferry dock, you will find Sogn Fjord Museum, a maritime subsection of De Heibergske Samlinger - Sogn Folkemuseum. In the olden days, the fjord was an integral part of the way of life in Sogn. The fjord was essential in providing food, work and transportation.
