About this experience

If you want to connect with Norwegian culture and heritage, this is the adventure for you.

After staying a few weeks close to the farm, it is time to go on to even greener grass up by the traditional summer farms.

This is how Norwegians (and their sheep) have been cultivating the landscape for ages.

Our adventure starts in Vassbygdi, and making sure we have our woolen friends in front of us, we make our way up to Almen farm in the Aurlandsdalen valley.

Herding the sheep, and having lunch along the trail, takes around 3 hours (depending on how well-behaved the sheep is off course).

Price per personadult NOK 850. Children (5-14y) NOK 420. Min. 2 people, max 10 people.

Booking needs to be made 5 days prior to departure.
