About this experience

Venabu - Myfallet – Venabu. The route starts vis-à-vis the turn-off to Venabu Mountain Lodge. A small DNT sign (Norwegian Mountain Touring Association) marks the starting point. The way-marked (T) trail then leads east into the birch forest. After 2 km, walk across river Mya via the bridge. Follow the way-marking for 200 metres, and then turn right behind the mountain farm buildings. The trail then continues across the Bjørndalen valley and on to a vantage point with spectacular views of the waterfalls. The base of the waterfalls can be reached via the trail leading down through the Bjørndalen valley. Some steep and slippery sections. Follow the same route back. Approx. 2 hours (break at vantage point not included). Enjoy the wildlife, peace and tranquillity of this wonderful birch forest. With a drop of over 100 metres, the waterfalls are a spectacular sight - ideal as a morning or afternoon walk.
