About this experience

Gygrestolen is a unique rock formation and a well-known landmark around Bø. The trail up to it is steep and difficult with an altitude difference of 350m, and the trip is appropriate for people who are in relatively good physical shape.

At the top you can go for a swim in lake Venetjønn, and on the top of the formation there is a fantastic view toward Uvdal and Uvdalsgjernet. The trip is about 7km and the terrain requires good, waterproof footwear.
