About this experience

The river Hunnselva is the second-biggest tributary to lake Mjøsa, and the precipitation field covers the area from Lygna in the south to Gjøvik and Vardal in the north. Hunnselva is one of the few Norwegian rivers that flow in a northerly direction. It has rich stocks of trout, as well as perch, pike, whitefish, rudd and minnow.

There are five open-front shelters around lake Reinsvolldammen, three to the north and two to the south. The newest shelter also has a barbecue area. It is located in the fly-fishing zone, which covers an area of one kilometre.
