From the center of Rjukan you can cycle a 15 km long path to Mæl. The tour offers both asphalt and road cycling.

The start is from Rallarparken. Here you ride the Månastien to Rjukan Church, cross the bridge and cycle south side of the river Måna down to Bjørn Myhre's place.

From the "Bjørn Myhres place" football pitch, take the bike path that goes down to Bruflot. At the end of Bruflot, the road leads onto a path. Now mountain biking will take place in the next kilometers down to the old road at Mæl.

Be aware that you are passing a shooting range here. So the trail is closed on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. If you cycle to the old road to the end, you can take a break at Tinnsjø Kro before turning and cycling back the same way, or the main road back to Rjukan.
