About this experience

Gondola top-station - Øvre Moksjøen - Rognhaugen - Hornsjøen - Lisetra -Gondola top-station

This route runs on the northern and eastern side of Hafjell, past several idyllic mountain farms, through woodland, and partially above the tree-line.

With its 40 km distance and hilly terrain, it is best suited for more experienced riders.

The Augsæter round follows a dirt-road, and is ideal for E-bikes.

Start by the gondola’s top-station, and head towards Øvre Moksjøen. Follow the cycle route, cross Hornsjøveien, and ride towards Rognhaugen.

At Rognhaugen, turn right and follow the dirt-road towards Hornsjøen. Continue westwards all the way to Lisetra where you can see the gondola top-station on the other side of the valley.

Follow the cross-country ski trail back to Hafjell.
