About this experience

The world's biggest ceramic jar is located in Moss and in the Mill Town.

In the glass building between old and new architecture by the library and the cinema, you'll find the world's biggest ceramic jar decorated by Frans Widerberg.

The jar was revealed under the Mossefossens day on the 14th of August 2001. It is 5, 14 meters high, made of 10 tons clay and it was shaped and burnt by Tommerup Ceramic Shop at Fyn in Denmark.

The jar was made for the local celebration of the Millenium.
