About this experience

The church was consecrated by Bishop Dagfinn Hauge the 7th of September 1969.

The church has a triangular floor plan and is constructed in timber and local stone. The triangle is a symbol for the doctrine of the Trinity.

The altar was made by Victor Sparre. It represents the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Skurdalskyrkja has around 150 seats.
