Skiptvet Rural Museum is idyllically located in wonderful surroundings at the heart of Skiptvet town centre. The museum opened in 1944, and consists of six buildings. The site is well worth a visit as it provides an accurate impression of how the locals used to live. Guided tours of the museum are available.
