About this experience

Nesbyen Kirke is a beautiful church located in the small village of Nesbyen in Hallingdal, Norway.

The church was built in 1790 and is a great example of the traditional Norwegian wooden churches. Inside the church, you can admire the beautiful stained glass windows, the organ, and the altarpiece, which was painted by the artist Jens Thiis in 1902.

The church also has a bell tower, which was built in 1853 and is still in use today. The church is open to visitors and is a great place to explore the history and culture of the region.
