About this experience

Kroderbanen is Norway's longest museum-railway, located in the county of Telemark. It is a unique experience, taking you back in time to the days of steam locomotives. The railway line runs from Brevik to Notodden, a distance of almost 30 km. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful scenery, including forests, lakes and rivers. You will also be able to visit the old station buildings and other historic sites.

The journey takes about two hours and is a great way to explore the area. During the summer months, you can also take a ride on the vintage train, which is pulled by a steam locomotive. The museum also offers a range of activities, such as guided tours, workshops and lectures.

Kroderbanen is a great way to experience the history and culture of Telemark.
