Karljohansvern is a historic naval base located in Horten, Norway. It was built in 1819 and is the oldest of its kind in the country.

It was the home of the Norwegian Navy until the mid-20th century and is now a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can explore the old barracks, the naval museum, and the old fortifications. The base also houses a number of restaurants and cafés, as well as a small beach.

The area is a great place to take a stroll and enjoy the views of the Oslofjord. There are also several boat tours available, allowing visitors to explore the area from the water.
