About this experience

Hønefoss Church is a beautiful and historic sight in Norway. Located in the municipality of Ringerike, it has been standing since the 13th century and is one of the oldest churches in the country.

It is a cruciform church, built in the Romanesque style, and its walls are decorated with frescoes from the 16th century. Inside, you will find a beautiful altarpiece from the 1700s, as well as a pulpit from the same period.

The church also has a bell tower, which is the oldest in the region. Visitors can take a guided tour of the church, which includes a visit to the crypt and the bell tower.

The church is a popular destination for tourists, and it is a great place to get a glimpse into Norway's history and culture.
