The museum lies in Nesbyen. Follow the "Gude path", where they exhibit copied pictures from the painter Hans Gude. The path goes through Old Nes with beautiful houses from earlier times. It is easy to get to the museum from Geilo by car or train, it takes around one hour travelling.
