About this experience

Beautiful old sailing ship found at Akershusutstikkeren below Akershus Fortress when it is not out on the sea.

Christian Radich is not open to the public, but can be opened on request for small groups. Christian Radich sails on several open fjord tours in May, June and August. Booking at ticketmaster. No.

From the kiosk at the dock you can sign up for membership in Friends of Christian Radich and buy souvenirs. The ship is available for charter tours and short cruises for schools and other groups in spring and autumn.

In summer the ship participates in Tall Ships Races. Anyone can sign up for these tours and participate in shipboard work under the guidance of the permanent crew.

The ship has had an interesting history as a training ship since its launch in 1937, and nearly 17,000 men and women have received their basic maritime education on board.
