About this experience

Skógafoss is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. It is located on the Skógá River in the south of the country and is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country, with a width of 25 metres and a drop of 60 metres. The waterfall is particularly spectacular due to the amount of spray it produces, which creates a single or double rainbow on sunny days. The best way to experience the beauty of Skógafoss is to take a walk up the staircase to the viewing platform at the top of the waterfall. From here you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding area and the powerful cascade of water. The area around the waterfall is also home to a wealth of wildlife, including the Arctic fox, and is a great spot for bird watching. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll or an adrenaline-filled adventure, Skógafoss is the perfect place to explore.
