About this experience

A small blue sign at road No. 85 indicates the direction to the parking area for Rauðanes. A panel gives some explanation about the hiking route and the area.

Numerous beautiful rock formations, sea stacks and cliffs are found around the peninsula Rauðanes. An easy marked hike circuits the peninsula. The route is about 6 km long and takes 2, 5 hrs.

The hike is not possible in snowy condition.
