About this experience

The Folk Music Centre brings Icelandic folk music to life. People from all over Iceland can be seen singing folk songs, playing traditional instruments and performing folk dances.

The Folk Music Center is situated in the house of Rev. Bjarni Thorsteinnson, who's famous collection of Icelandic folk songs, from the end of the 19th century, was published in 1906. Admission: ISK 800. Or combined ticket with The Herring Museum ISK 1.400/800.

June 1st - August 31st: 12 am - 6 pm
September - May: By arrangement
