See the Saimaa lakeland and forests and sample Finnish mushrooms on a unique mushroom cruise where you may also catch a glimpse of the elusive Saimaa ringed seal. The Saimaa lakeland is the only place in the world where the Saimaa ringed seals live, and there are only about 400 of them. During the day, half the time is spent on board and the other half exploring for mushrooms on islands. While sailing between islands, there is time to ask questions and talk to experts. The guides are Jarkko Korhonen, biologist and mushroom expert, and Saimi Hoyer, hotelier at Hotel Punkaharju and passionate mushroom gatherer.
