About this experience

The observation tower of the Vehoniemenharju conservation area is an old one, dating back to 1927. The top of the ridge rises up to 60 metres above water level.

The observation tower is located next to the Vehoniemi Automobile Museum. The landscape from the top of the tower opens to the southwest of Roine and the cultural landscape of the Saarikylät villages, where there has been a village settlement for hundreds of years.

From the top you will also see Valkeakoski factories. To the northeast of the observation tower you can see the enchanting landscape of Längelmävesi Heposelkä and the enchanting landscape of Raikku village.

There is also a guided nature trail around the Vehoniemi ridge.
