The museum offers visitors a glimpse of what hospital treatment was like in days gone by, hospital life during the war years, and the lives of the former patients and staff who left their mark on the hospital.

The exhibition includes displays of old hospital tools and apparatus such as lobotomy equipment and equipment used in electric shock treatment, as well as objects and works of art made by patients as part of their occupational therapy.
