Family Boat Trip at Lake Inarijärvi and Visit in the Ice Cave

About this experience

Lake Inarijärvi is the third-largest lake in Finland and the biggest in Sápmi. There is over 3000 island and the depth might be over 90 meters even tough the lake is quite shallow. Water quality in Lake Inarijärvi is excellent, the water is clear and even drinkable.

Our boat trip starts from the Veskoniemi harbour in Ivalo and we will have a break and a visit on the island of Korkia-Maura. There we can enter a cave where we might find some ice even on the summer months! We will have a coffee breaks on shore and bbq sausages by the fire. After a break we return to the harbour.
