The Lake Keselmäjärvi natural phenomena observation point is a great place to watch the northern lights and the midnight sun!

Northern lights appear in Salla from mid-August to mid-April. The midnight sun can be spotted in June-July.

The Keselmäjärvi observation point is accessible and can be reached for example with prams. You can park your car next to Keselmäjärvi beach, where the route to the little island starts.
