About this experience

This concrete bunker is located in Joutsijärvi. The defence line constructed along the eastern border of Finland, built in 1940, 1941 and 1944 and extending for approximately 1, 200 kilometers, is called the Salpa Line. The fortified battle stations in Joutsijärvi from the northernmost bunker area of the Salpa Line. In the middle of the village, on the shores of the small Hunajalampi lake is a restored bunker of the Finnish Salpa Line.
