About this experience

Kvívík - Válur is a stunning hiking trail located in the Faroe Islands. The trail is 8.5 km long and takes about 4 hours to complete. It offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the islands of Kalsoy and Kunoy.

The trail starts in Kvívík, a small village located in the north of the Faroe Islands. From there, you will be able to see the stunning cliffs of Kalsoy, as well as the beautiful beaches of Kunoy.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass through a variety of landscapes, including heathland, meadows, and forests. Along the way, you will also be able to spot a variety of wildlife, including birds, seals, and sheep.

At the end of the trail, you will reach Válur, a small village located on the edge of the sea. Here, you can take in the stunning views and relax in the peaceful surroundings.
