Syðrugøta - Ánir is a stunning hiking trail located in the Faroe Islands. The trail is 8.2 km long and takes approximately 3 hours to complete. It is a moderate hike with some steep sections, but the views are worth it! The trail starts at the village of Syðrugøta and takes you along the coastline, with views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you will pass by the old village of Ánir, which is now abandoned. The trail then continues up to the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. At the top, you can also find a small lake, which is a great spot for a picnic. This is a great hike for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful and tranquil experience.
