About this experience

Nordby Hede (moor) lies between Mårup Skov and Stavns Fjord on the northern part of the Island. It is a protected area, and you must follow the instructions. However, it is a beautiful walk especially when the heather blooms.

In the Stone Age Samsø was divided in two – the north island and the south island. Land elevation and sediment from the sea has since tied the two islands together.

You can buy a miniguide for hiking around Samsø at Samsø Erhvervs- og Turistcenter.
