About this experience

The Forgotten Giants are a unique sight in Denmark. Located in the small town of Jels, these giant sandstone figures are a reminder of the ancient past.

The figures were carved from sandstone by the Vikings and are believed to have been used as boundary markers.

Today, the figures are a popular tourist attraction, with visitors coming from all over the world to see them. The figures are up to 4 metres tall and are believed to represent gods and goddesses from Norse mythology.

The figures are also said to have magical powers, and it is said that if you touch them, you will be blessed with good luck. The Forgotten Giants are a must-see for anyone visiting Denmark, and are a great way to explore the country's ancient history.
