About this experience

Soroe church is the third longest and the fifth largest medieval church in Denmark. It is built in the period 1160-80 and is one of the first brick buildings in Denmark. The church itself was errected by the archbishop Absalon. Below the windows all long the sides of the church can be seen a frieze of more than 100 coat-of; arms. The interior of the church dates back to the time of Frederik 3rd. .
