About this experience

Lillebrænde Church has a Romanesque chancel and is nave constructed with red monk bricks from the 1300th century. It has never been paint-washed.

There has been lacerated on the chancel window, which has been covered behind the altarpiece since 1944. The altarpiece has now been removed and today the chalk paintings function as altar pictures.

Late Gothic chancel arch crucifix dating from 1450.
