North Jutland, Denmark

About this experience

Lindenborg Å is probably one of the most famous angling waters of the Himmerland area.

The stream is best known for its large sea trouts and nearly every year, sea trouts of more than 10 kg are caught.

The angling for sea trout takes place from the beginning of June. Night or twilight angling is often very popular with local anglers.

Besides the required official Danish angling fishing license you need a special local angling license, which you can buy online.

At a small stretch of the Lindenborg Å - marked with yellow on the map - you are allowed to angle without the local permission.

Take care of the bull - it might run free.

The angling period: 16. January - 15. November
