Oudrup Church

North Jutland, Denmark

About this experience

The church ist modest concerning size and arrangement.

The altarpeice represents Jesus walking on the lake, painted by A. Dorph in 1897.

A small crucifix from the 18th Century is placed in a coarse frame, which compliments the crucifix and gives an expression of strength and power.

The chancel arch has a severe slant to one side, probably a deliberate illustration of the fact that only God creates perfection.

General opening hours: You are welcome to contact the sexton.
