About this experience

The Mariager Museum has a collection of axes, spearheads, knives, chisels, and samples from a kitchen mitten from the Stone Age. From the Bronze Age you can see preserved bronze swords, and there are some fine necklaces, various buckles and razors.

There is a room with kitchen tools, churns, and other tools for milk preparation. The furniture of the Rococo room has been given by one of the founders and benefactors, Anders Christensen.

You’ll also find the interior from a farm living room from the 18th century. The museum has been established in an old 17th century merchant's house. The external gallery and the atmosphere of the yard are of particular interest. Different exhibitions during the season!

4 times a year an art exhibition will take place at the museums gallery: Vognporten.
