The Crooked Path is a historic and charming bike and hiking trail which winds from Grindsted to Silkeborg. The route is long and flat but by no means boring – every cyclist’s dream.

The relatively route present a diverse landscape - cultivated fields, forests, moor, bogs and plantations. Most of the route runs along the old railway and at several places the path crosses old railway bridges dating back to the beginning of the last century. The path also crosses no less than seven streams before reaching Brande.

Apart from the beautiful landscape The Crooked Path runs through the towns, Filskov, Blåhøj, Drantum and Brande. Highlights: The beautiful nature, Second World War memorial outside Filskov. Length: 26 km (From Grindsted to Brande). Download directions and maps as a pdf file at the top right.
