About this experience

The Church of Fjelstervang (1898) is one out of many churches from the period where people cultivated the moor in the western part of Jutland.

A large growth in population at the end of last century and the insufficient infrastructure, resulted in the building of four churches in 1899-1914.

The building of the church at Fjelstervang was government subsidized with the amount of DKK 18, 000.

The design of the church resembles the other "churches at DKK 18, 000", designed by the architect Ahlmann, Århus.
