Stenbrudssøen Lake has natural stocks of carp, perch, tench and eel. Zander were also released into the lake many years ago and since they now thrive without further help, they are considered natural inhabitants of the lake. Five-kilo specimens are caught regularly, and the record is of more than 10 kilos. Every year rainbow trout of about 1 kilo are released. The fishing association in Nexø holds the fishing rights in the lake.
