Here you will find 5 smokehouses in a row, situated on the coastline in a magnificent nature.

One of the smokehouses is established as a museum (admission is free) and it is preserved the way it was originally built in 1897.

In one of the other smokeshouses, herrings and other kinds of fish are being smoked, the traditional way in open chimneys as it has beeb done on Bornholm for many years.

In the morning you can see how the fish are prepared and later on the first smoked fish are ready, wihch you can buy and eat in the idyllic surroundings.
