About this experience

As you walk through the forest, hear the fascinating tale of why the road was constructed and learn about what life was really like during one of the bloodiest periods in Scottish history, The Jacobite Uprisings.

Make your way to Conci Hill and take in. spectacular views of Loch Lomond, the largest inland lake in Britain. Listen to facts about Loch Lomond, from its maximum depth to the strange animals that inhabit one of the islands.

After conquering this Conci Hill, descend to the village of Balmaha for a well-deserved lunch (at your own expense). Following lunch at the Oak Tree Inn, wait for the bus back to take you back to the the point of the hike.
