About this experience

Sottrup Kirke is a beautiful and historic church located in the small village of Sottrup, in the south of Denmark. The church dates back to the 12th century and is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. The church is built of red brick and has a tower with a spire that is visible from miles away. Inside, the church is decorated with frescoes and a beautiful altar. The church also has a crypt, which is believed to be the burial place of the Danish King Valdemar I. The church is open to visitors and is a great place to explore and learn about the history of Denmark. The surrounding area is also beautiful, with rolling hills and lush green fields. Sottrup Kirke is a must-see for anyone visiting Denmark.
